  1. 5662g sources- should add Martin Locock (1998). The Goldcliff Stone and Roman Drainage on the Caldicot Level: An Evaluation at Hill Farm, Goldcliff, 1996. Britannia, 29, pp 329-336. doi:10.2307/526827.

  2. Please could you update the records for PR 08587. You were sent a copy of the excavation report with full details of the site. If ‘lost’ I can e-mail you a pfd copy. The medieval moated manor status is proved not ‘possibly’.
    Thanks (I will check later)

  3. RE:03796 Cynwell /Saint Well I think you will find that this site is not in the Wenvoe community but historically was in the Caerau parish on the site of the Culverhouse pub. Do you hold any more information than that which you have published on the history of this site in the middle ages.

    thanks

    Nigel Billingham
